Marketing trainee: Help us share our story
Are you a creative communicator with a passion for technology and well-being? We are looking for a Marketing Trainee to join our team! This is a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience in the global medtech industry, working on everything from digital campaigns and webinars to physical brand assets.
Basic information
Office location: Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki
Contract: Full time paid internship (37,5 hours per week) for the summer months (mid-May to mid-September). Exact dates are negotiable. Realistic possibility to continue as a part-time employee after the summer.
Work model: Office-based in Pitäjänmäki with some opportunity for remote work

Your role as a marketing trainee
As our Marketing Trainee, you will play a hands-on role in executing our global marketing strategy with the marketing team. Your daily tasks may include work in the following areas:
Digital Communication: Crafting engaging newsletters and executing cold email outreach campaigns.
Event & Webinar Coordination: Taking the lead on webinar setups, managing event registrations, and ensuring smooth onsite or virtual execution.
Content & Web Management: Keeping our website up-to-date while creating compelling content for various channels.
Visual Assets: Updating existing marketing materials to keep them aligned with our offering and brand.
Operational Support: Managing print logistics, maintaining the Sooma Academy educational platform, and assisting with general office duties.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a proactive team player who is eager to learn. You will be a great fit if you have:
An academic degree (or are currently studying) in marketing, business, biomedical engineering or other relevant field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
Fluency in English (our primary working language). Working proficiency in German, French and/or Finnish is considered an additional advantage.
Familiarity with marketing design and digital communication, alongside hands-on experience or interest in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, HubSpot, Shopify, Google Ads, or GA4.
A can-do attitude and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Still a student or new to some of these platforms? We’ll provide the mentoring and hands-on support you need to develop your skills in marketing and design.
A keen interest in healthcare technology or mental health is a plus!
